Description
This seated Ganesha is cast by hand in resin composite and finished with an antiqued, stone-like patina that shifts between sage green and warm bronze depending on the light. He sits in classic form, four arms raised, trunk curled, crown tiered and detailed with lotus and floral carving reminiscent of temple stonework.
Look closely and you’ll find the hand-finishing throughout — the deepened shadows pooled in the folds of his robe, the softer highlights along the trunk and crown, the faint tool marks in the crevices where the antiquing was worked in by hand rather than sprayed evenly. Because each statue is painted and aged individually, you may find gentle differences in tone or texture from one piece to the next — that’s the hand of the finisher at work, not a flaw in the piece.
Ganesha is traditionally seen as a remover of obstacles, which makes this a thoughtful gift for someone starting something new — a first home, a new business, a fresh chapter — rather than another generic housewarming candle. At this size, he sits comfortably on a desk, shelf, or entry table without asking for much space.
The Artisan’s Mark
Each statue is cast by hand in small batches and finished withhand-applied paint and antiquing detail, so subtle differences incolor depth, texture, and finish appear from piece to piece. These aren’t flaws – they’re the mark of hand-finishing, not a factory line.
